[Margate Football Club]

Contractors will meet with Officials of the Club on site at Hartsdown Park on Wednesday 13 April 2005, to commence works as previously confirmed. Plant and equipment is already en-route and will arrive on site Thursday 14 April 2005. The Club has also booked rooms for the contractors commencing on Thursday.

 

The Planning Department of Thanet District Council has confirmed that re-instatement can proceed and that no further approval is required for the pitch works.

 

All parties forming the construction team including engineers and surveyors are fully instructed to deliver the reinstated stadium in good time for next Seasons kick off.

 

The new pitch will be constructed to include drainage and irrigation systems and will be grass, a final decision as to whether this finish will be seed or turf has not yet been taken as it will depend on timing and weather conditions.

 

As soon as everyone can see a visible presence on site all attention will turn to our fight to retain our Conference South status.

 

What a massive boost survival would provide and your Directors know that there is no one better to provide it than Chris Kinnear and we must all continue with maximum support to Chris and the players.

 

If we can do it, there is no doubt next Season would be very exciting and we would be looking to bounce back to the Conference National.

When I left England on Sunday 3rd Tuesday was supposed to be the start date??? Still no brick-age to mention!!!
