MUSIC FOR NEXT TUESDAY

Ok...I'm revisiting the CD I did for the last postponed game and keeping Gwen Guthire "Nothin' Going On But The Rent" and Pet Shop Boys "Rent".

 

The usual top ten hits (whatever they may be...Tony Christie?...who knows) and classic cuts...

 

I'm toying with the idea that Manfred Mann's Earth Band "Blinded By The Light" as the "rock" classic (then again, "Joybringer" would be a great choice...). The Mod classic has to be Curtis Mayfield "Move On Up"...Tashhead Tone has complained that there isn't enough Rolling Stones being played (perhaps he should've listened to the previous week when Gimmie Shelter was on the play list, instead of dispensing his pearls of wisdom and quaffing pints - then again, it wouldn't be Tone if he couldn't find something to...I'll leave that thought there!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)...so, as the play off's have been likened to a "lottery", "Tumbling Dice" will be slotted in....Oh and Simon wants Led Zeppelin "Immigrant Song" (perhaps he thinks we'll be playing Grays next season, if we go up - sorry Simon, they're promoted)

 

Which leaves me with a couple of slots for the R 'n' B classic and a couple of poptastic tunes...(they don't need to relate to the game and our oppo...please, we have two).
