I'm guessing AFF's story comes from a match that ended in a 12-3 victory, the opposition getting a penalty, the proverbial 'we' getting two forwards' pushover tries (the enemy of true rugby).

 

Canf, the backs are given a blank canvas, their hands are their brushes, the ball is their paint. Forwards get tired after the first 10 miss 12, 13 and 14 switch back inside to 15, and instead settle down for another scrum.

scrum, ludicrous feed of the ball, 8 keeps it in while everyone has a breather.. opposition try a comedy shove.. 9, 10 hoof all of six yards into the wind for touch.. nice stroll , bent throw in, leap catch turn set up form wedge (remember those!) try to get it moving, give up 9, 10, hoof.. etc etc
