Busy week for me with two trips up the M3 to see the Mighty Reds.

Looking at the table, has the tide turned down the estuary where the Canvey Sports and Social Club appear to have finally blown out?

I posted before the start of the season in reply to a couple of cocky Canvey supporters, stating that success would be staying up. My opinion is correct. At least some of the more sensible Canvey fans agreed with me.

They should still just about stay up. It could go down to a crunch match with Forest Green on the last day of the season, but their two fixtures prior to that (Scarborough and York, both at home) are easier than Forest Green's, who have Hereford and Morecambe still to play. That said, if Forest Green can end a run without victory stretching back to Boxing Day with a win at Carlisle, who knows what may happen?

I hope they stay up. much as I dislike Burger King, they do play nice football, have a class act in Boylan, and the atmosphere is usually "lively". Which cannot be said for FGR or Leigh.

How much would Boylan be on the market for if they went down?

Would they sell him?

I know which away trip I'd rather go on out of Forest Green and Canvey though, and it isn't the latter.

They have said this on their forum before, alot of their fans would not want to sell him, for obvious reasons! But the harsh reality is they probably would end up selling him. i imagine they have already have a few league clubs asking about him and if they get relegated i could imagine him askin to be sold...may be wrong tho!

Thought that might have been the answer - shame as he is just what we need to solve the goal drought.

It seemed to me on Saturday that the delivery into box (when it came) was good but there never seemed to be anyone getting on the end of them.

Just looked on the forum it seem Mr. King has decided to go on a ski holiday during the season!!

However i hear the bloke left in charge is more than capable!

 

I was just curious what would be your recations be if Mr. Daish did this and left Alan Kimble in charge??
