Stewards in 'being human' shocker!

Don't worry, Chris Baker and co., the title to this thread is clearly not meant to be taken seriously. Posted by mancunian shrimp on the Morecambe forum:

"We're all having banter with the stewards about breaking the "crash barriers" that seperated us from the 9 gravesend 12 year olds trying to sing. (Whatever were you one of them?) when Hodgie brakes one the ribbons. Cue steward tying it back up again. Seagie then gives them a wisecrack, and the other Steward potters over with a stern face, points at Seagie with his walkie talkie to his ear and says "You thats it out you're on CCTV causing trouble"

Seagies face then drops, as he realises that the Morecambe FC website will only have 60 minutes of coverage on it, and then the Steward just smiles and says "Gotcha, one nil......." cue feverish laughter."

Yeah, Seagie posts on this other football forum I post on (not confguide...just a general football one...) He just said this after I asked him about it:

"Yeah it was, the *******, lol tongue

We were stood near the tape, pulling it a bit, just teasing the steward who was watching us and then some guy just came over and snapped it and then walked off again. So then a steward came over and was stood there to tie the tape back together and we were having a natter to him.

Then another steward came over, pointed straight at me and said "right, your out". I had a moment of panic and shock before he started laughing. I held my hands up at the time and admitted he got me good and proper

Still, when a steward says stuff like that to you your not expecting it to be a windup, which is good as it shows that not all people you get stewarding games are mini Hitlers. Good day out all round. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />"
