LAST NIGHT - AWARDS NIGHT.

Recommended Posts

Top notch evening, with top notch food...(enough to keep me in calories for a couple of weeks), top notch awards and company!!!

Well worth the spend and congratulations go to Steve and Sharon Kent and all those that worked hard to make it a success .

One suggestion...how about re introducing "club" man and "club" woman awards next time? Something for the supporter.

Really enjoyed last night, the company was great, the food was yummy and the ale was flowing. Thanks to all involved in putting it together.

Now for the memory test. The awards went as follows:

BTSA POTM (March) - Nathan Elder

Supporters Player of the Year - Pat Sappleton

BTSA "Len Dewson" special award - Gary Henty

Club young (under 23) player of the year - Matt Game

Goal of the Season - Gary Henty (vs Kingstonian)

Golden Boot - Danny Hockton and Nathan Elder

Players Player of the Year - Leon Hunter

Well done to all of the above on their awards.

Can I have 5 (or 7) wins now please lads.....

As Gazza and JL have already said congratulations to Steve and Sharon Kent and everyone else who made last nights awards evening such a success.

It was great seeing over 100 people seated in the new club house having a very enjoyable time. The food and service during the whole evening was superb.

Congratulations to all the award winners last night and the final piece of the jigsaw will be promotion to the Nationwide Conference South in the next month.

The BTSA also made a presentation to Steve Kent last night towards the cost for the club house flooring of £1000.

A great evening, thank you.

I certainly hope that grand wasn't in cash Andrew....well you know what football club Chairmen are like....

I wondered why SK was sizing up the old carpets in my skip the other day and murmering quietly to himself about 'them having a few years left yet'...

oh well....sounds like a bloody good night was had by all...I sadly had to turn down my invite as I was required at another reception further to the west of our much loved capital....

in any event.......its been a very good year for your club and all at Hx are delighted for you all....regardless of the outcome of the exciting race for promotion in the division I think you can all be pleased with yourselves for firmly putting Ricay back in the 'game' again....

well done and good luck over the next two weeks...

just one question.

why have an awards night before the end of the season?

I think it was the most convenient available date IW. You must let us know how your awards night goes. I'm sure there will be plenty of available phone boxes to hold it in.......
