Gotta say we lost it in the first half thought it was a really lacklustre display players didn't seem to wanna shoot they instead opted for over complicated passing. The second half was a bit brighter we really took the game to them. Thought Keith and Stowie made a major difference when they came on.

Obviouslly with all the injuries/illnesses it wasn't easy !

The Ref was the worst i have Seen and we have had him before, decided to go for the easy life and awarded everything to the home side.

I was reading the non league paper from Friday and there is a quote from Gale who plays for Havant '....We are gently hacking our way up the league' well in the second half they certainly did !

Just got back - not a good display, though hardly surprising given the absence of players like Cooper, Kwakye, Johnson, Tommo and O'Connor. Where were they?

Plus two new players in the starting line up (new in the sense they have not been in the starting line up before) - and three more new players on the bench.

Looking on the positive side, they could have taken an early lead, and in the second half, there was a definite hand ball from a Doug shot, and Bowes could well have won a second penalty.

The referee was somewhat inconsistent, (ie VERY inconsistent), and appeared to greatly favour the home side - and his incorrect award of a free kick led to the fourth goal in the 97th minute. Interesting to note that Havant were time wasting with a vengence once the penalty went in.

The defence looked all at sea in the first half, but improved in the second half. I was a bit puzzled to find that the smallest player on the pitch was playing at centre half.

I note that Keith Martin was announced as Michael Gorman when he came on.

Also note that Havant appeared to have used four subs - the number 14 replaced number six at half time, and they used three more subs in the second half - numbers 12 (for 9), 16 (for 8) and a second number 14 (for 7). I can only assume that the "first" number 14 had changed his shirt at half time. Hopefully someone will check the team sheet.

My player of the match was Sean Dear, with Micky Desborough not too far behind.

They looked much better when Chris Stowe and Keith Martin (aka Michael Gorman if the announcer was to be believed) came on - why do these two not figure in the starting line up?

>>That was time i was talking about

Thanks again - we did not notice it at the time, we were too busy wondering what on earth the referee was up to.

And I think I am correct in saying that Steve Omonua is from Hampton & Richmond, and that Michael Gorman was also with Hampton & Richmond, but more recently with Barking.

Omonua was a youth team player at West Ham I think.
