Folkestone on Tuesday

Despite all the doom and gloom folks don't forget we have a kent senior cup semi final at Folkestone on Tuesday. We have a proud recent record in the competition and are aiming for our third successive triumph. I know staying in conference football is more important (and not likely now) so lets enjoy the night and a break from the pressures of the league and cheer us on to the final against Dover where we can turn out in force and vent our spleens against JP, one of the chief culprits in causing our dreadful plight over the last 2 years.

To be honest, I'm really not up for the KSC this year. However, the chance to scream totally vile abuse at JP at the final does have its attractions.

If so, excellent - at least that may have some effect in trying to save the competition's fading reputation.

Perhaps they should also try, as Liam Daish suggested in his programme notes yesterday, playing the final at a local League side's ground - a system used in the Hampshire Senior Cup, for example.

Of course that always used to happen in the KSC until Scally got all arsey. The problem with Kent is there is only one league club (unless Charlton could be used?)
