Barnet confirmed promotion for themselves with victory over Halifax.

 

Canvey lost to Tamworth and relegation now looks a real possibilty for them.

We will send Farnborough down if we get a draw or win on Tuesday.

 

The last relegation place will be between FGR, Canvey, Northwich & York.

 

FGR have 2 difficult games against Hereford at home and Morecambe away - dont see more than a couple of points from those, although they obviously surprised everyone (bar themselves, I suspect) with todays result.

 

Canvey have 2 easier looking games at home to Scarborough and York. If they win one of those, I think they will survive and FGR will go down.

 

If they dont, however, it will all come down to the last game of the season - and, yes, Canvey play at FGR!

 

Northwich play Leigh, Aldershot & Crawley at home, and Burton away - if they win the Leigh game, they will probably have done enough to survive.

 

York should really just about be safe with the points they already have, but could mathematically still go down if the sides below them suddenly hit a rich vein of form.

By my reckoning, if they drew with us on Tuesday and won their remaining three matches, then they could still catch Canvey on goal difference if Canvey lost all of their remaining games - assuming that Forest Green also lose their next two games and then beat Canvey. This would leave all three sides on 35 points.
