The senile old goat who stands near me, (to whom I have referred before) actually applauded Morcambes 2nd goal and shouted "Great goal, come on you yellows!!) I politely asked him who he thought he supported and told him he appeared to be suffering from Altzheimers disease (or words close to that). It shut him up.

Sometimes you wish these old fossils just wouldn't come back.

I overheard a couple of old farts outside the clubshop before kick-off moaning about the club going full-time next season. One of them was getting very irate and said:

 

"They should have stayed as Northfleet, they have been rubbish ever since they merged with that Gravesend sh*t"

We were near them and I pointed out that it wouldn't be much change from under Fordy..... YET.

The team we have is still Andy Ford's team.

You`re right to say we must wait until next season to judge Liam,but the long ball game he seems to favour will not bring in the casual punter.As we are going full time,money at the gate is paramount and,after the performance today,and the Forest Green game we ain`t gonna attract enough support to move forward with any conviction.Also,on the evidence so far,his use of substitutes leaves a lot to be desired.As we are safe from relegation,why not give Luke Moore a run out?Is he injured?Where`s the other player who joined with Anselin.....can`t remember his name at the moment!.....Ain`t he worth a look?

I think your kind of remarks are uncalled for, you have no reason to be rude, as we know there are plenty of slaggers out there of all ages. Do these guys not pay to come in, was he in earshot of the Fleet players. What is so wrong about someone applauding a good move or goal regardless of who scores, has sportsmanship died.

 

Why did Liam pull of Matty Lovel, I thought he was doing well getting behind their defence on a number of occasions. He never gave up the chase. Now generally I'm not a great fan of his but he showed tenacity. A bit petulant at times. I was sitting alongside the tunnel when he came off, he stormed into the dressing room, the stand shook when he slammed the door.

 

The man for me today and most times is Proths, what talent this guys got.

It says that a few of you weren't "Impressed" with us as a Play-off side and that we won't make it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

I have a feeling that we will and when we win on Tuesday night and go 4th in the table you'll know why <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

 

Although you beat us at our place earlier in the season I very much doubt if that would be the case now as many teams have found oflate.
