Yes, and if Fords win, it could also help to get Newport relegated, and perhaps Fords might win a few more and stay up (unlikely but it could happen).

I hear "from the horses mouth" that Newport have signed 4 "league" players, just before deadline day, and are an improving side.
Whereas Fords are struggling to get a starting eleven, let alone a squad.
