Todays team

Well i wonder what it will be .

CK has continued support from myself ,and its easy to play 'Ron Manager' from home, but i do feel his team selection has gone astray recently.

Despite the even more limited resources recently with JK suspended, i do feel that CK has been off the mark with team selection recently;and its reall annoying

Why play Alex at left back.It failed late last year ,and failed again this time game after game after game ;and is evident for all to see.

That is not a crticism of Alex as he can do a job in midfield but not full back.

However, i fear that Chris will continue to play him at left back today, since if he changes thing around as everybody else seems to recognise, it will show his policy of playing Alex at left back was wrong.

I'd take a chance today and play without a left wing back to enable Clarke to stay in midfield. We could still have 4 defenders.

I also read that CK will start with Sasha-surely not-on what basis-a fluke goal against St Albans and a good shot.It gave us hope, but frankly i saw nothing else to suggest that Sasha can succeed for 90 mintes against bruising experience conference midfielders/defenders.

My team today would be:

Trego

Benevides Barnett Keister Smith

Moses Gradley Alex Ch. Clarke

Stadhart Baptiste.

subs: Sasha Nej,Edwards,Green

I'd keep Rocky and Che together as it worked in early season so for a 'last hurrah', i'd give them a chance to get the goalscoring partnership together.

I guess the team CK will put out though will be:

Trego

Benevides Edwards Smith Charam

Gradley Keister Clarke

Che Rocky Sasha.

I guess at least the midfield looks stronger so maybe the ball won't reach our seive like defence

Well it did go goalward so in that sense it wasnt a fluke but to be honest it was just a cross that just ended up going into the far corner of the net. Goalkeeper was caught out by the flight. It most definately WASNT a shot at goal. If you deem it to have been "no fluke" then Sasha's eye for perfection is extremely good therefore we have a superstar in our midst who has precision goalscoring ability. It WAS nevertheless a goal and it gave us hope therefore we were grateful at the time. No, it really couldnt be said that it was an intentional shot at goal but a hopeful punt come cross that took a flight path that eluded the keeper and just managed to go in under the bar at the far corner. Hey, a goal is a goal anyway no matter how its achieved. His second WAS a shot at goal and it showed others how to score goals at the least.

I would also be tempted to play sasha from the start but I'm not sure who I would leave out. I still say the goal was not a fluke. He looked up and saw the keeper off his line and executed a perfect lob into the far corner.
