Dover Football club

I think it interesting that despite their own impending relegation, they announce that 13 existing players(and two pending) have agreed terms for next season.

Now players, supporters and particularly funders like certainty ;and that is the way surely to run that aspect of a football club.

Every season we seem to have a summer of uncertainty and lose way in the early season.

It does beg the question just the same ,as to why JP could not do that when at MFC, and why everything at MFC was clouded in secrecy but in his Dover regime he is very forthcoming about everything-odd .

Really? Which seasons? You can hardly blame the club this season, it was uncertain that we were even going to have a team until the start of August. You can hardly plan in those circumstances.

Are you referring to the seasons in the Conference when we did superbly to finish mid-table each time? The year we won the Southern League? Perhaps you are going back to the mid-1990s when you might have a point, but it does seem a bit late now. What are you on about?

How about last season when we got through about 30 players by october and didnt win at home til northwich. Hopefully with a settled stadium, we can attract the right players to stay, and some more to join us to push once again for promotion!
