If Michael Howards the answer, I can't even start to think what the question was.

Surely we should be looking forward and not to a past and the most disconcerting of eras. If Frankinsteins bride thinks there is something of the night about him, we must believe her as she would know.

The alternative apparently being Labour - slogan for this campaign something about moving Britain forward - forward to what? The brink of disaster?

Labour are also fast returning to the traditional tax and spend ideal, yet is there any REAL improvement in things?

Good old Gordon Brown, they all say. Excellent chancellor, they all say. Rubbish. He sold off gold reserves & bought some other crap that is now worth less than the gold was valued at. He raided the pension schemes, then a few years later we all get told we aren't putting enough in our pensions! He planned to borrow only £7 billion - he's now £99 billion in trouble! Who's going to pay for it?

Watch out after the election if Labour are returned to power. More stealth taxes anyone? More national insurance anyone? Lower council tax subsidies meaning even higher increases anyone? Now wonder they're so keen to revalue homes!
