Jimmy Greaves when I was very young, he and his wife used to shop at my Grandaprents general store in Wimbledon.

Former Spurs full back Terry Naylor when he played for EPM in the Gravesend League

Sir Norman Wisdom, Barry Sheene and Phil Read (both former 50-0cc World Motor Cycle Champions), Also enjoyed a beer with Karl Howman and Peter Duncan at Bowaters Club after a celebrity football match in the 80's.

The real question is...

What famous people have met ME..??!!

They are no better than any of us, getting starstruck around a bunch of egotistical twats is something I definiately do not do...!!

They may be richer than most of us, but, are they really happy...??!!

Well said and definitely the best answer yet!

Half the people who the national papers and television companies portray as celebrities or national icon’s are an embarrassment.

Actually he used to make a living putting pointless posts on Forums, but he lost that job to someone younger and more guillble.

I must say that Bobby Chartlon was one of the most sincere gentlemen I have ever met. Really charming and polite.
Fergie was great fun and company, Princess Di was drop dead gorgeous. God knows why Charles wanted to be Camilla's tampax?

I am terrible with names, and cannot be bothered to look them up:

The bloke who played Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films. (Kicking myself here as this was before the first film, so I did not know him from Adam. His autograph would have been cool)!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The above bloke’s wife. She played a footballer in the series about a female football team. (The one who had her husband’s brothers baby. In the series that is). Oh and their dog. Which is not famous as far as I am aware?

Richard Stilgoe

Chris Evans (in an Irish pub London).

The bloke that presented that Computer Game show years ago. Dominic someone or other?
