A Director of Hx Football club has today received 'guarded' threatening text messages from George Borg. The matter has been reported to the Braintree Club Chairman, Lee Harding, the FA and the Ryman League. Mr Harding informed our Director that he would deal with the matter, subsequently a further threat was received. Our Director rang Lee Harding to advise him once again that a threat had been received and Mr Harding stated that he was with Mr Borg and was attempting to talk with him, the conversation was overidden by Borg screaming in the background threats to all and sundry. We have requested recordings of the conversation from Vodofone.

 

HFC lawyers have tonight served notice, in writing upon Borgs Lawyers and will tomorrow take an injunction out on George Borg, Lee Harding and Braintree Football Club to ensure that they have no further contact with any member, associate, Director or Shareholder of our football club.

 

George Borg will get no credit for threatening a woman, which he has, Harding will get no credit for allowing it, which he has. Borg has my telephone number but chose not to threaten me directly. Perhaps he prefers his victims to be intimidated after he's beaten them up and to copitulate by committing suicide. This time he's got the wrong ones.

 

Cowards and Charlatans. The court has made its decision. Are these two and their club above the law.

 

The police will also be advised of the threats. What will Mr Turvey and the FA think about it all I wonder.

Borg took Hornchurch to court for some cash and to wind the club up, he lost (I think) and has obviously gone a bit mental!

George & others did not lose. Hornchurch were allowed a adjournment for seven weeks to put a CVA in place.

Funny how our previous illustrious Chairman always has a reasoned answer for everything however extreme it might be! And as we all know Mr Borg's rantings are about as extreme as you'll see outside of an asylum.

I won't go into the CVA stuff again, it's been done to death now.

 

The 10 point rule is new for this season (I think) and may not apply to teams below Conference National.
