Why are we not playing Ian Lovegrove? Surely being a central defender he could fit in where Hodgey is playing, and then Hodges could return upfront.

Deserved our lead for the first 70 minutes, but then three defensive F ups cost us the match, AGAIN.

 

Videos - got practically everything worth getting, except our goal! Even got Matt Murphy's dissallowed goal and that tackle on Carbon (PM me or send me an e-mail for a copy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ), although it is all a bit grainy.

No disrespect to Hendon tonight, they played us well making the subs at the right time - taking advantage of our tiredness late on.

 

But if that match was played earlier in the season there is no way we would have lost that game at home against in all honesty a pretty average side that Gary Mac is still re-building.

Absolutely agree with Chris, we changed a few things around last night and the next four games for us are not going to have the same starting line-ups. We tried out Marvyn Watson further forward and benched John Frendo, that didn't seem to work too well and we looked a lot better when Frendo was on the pitch. Our next four games aren't really about pushing for 7th place, more about Gary Mac getting the right ideas for next season.

Better last night but not great. The defending was sloppy although I have chalked that down more to tiredness in the last ten minutes which does not bode well for the rest of this hideously hectic schedule. I am more than happy with our season as a whole but let's hope that April isn't too painful.

 

Let's get it right Saturday boys. Heads up.

we were doing quite well until hendon equalised in my opinion, then we couldnt use the ball properly and that then resulted in conceding two more.

i could sense a goal coming as soon as i saw the ball heading for the unmarked man at the back post!

and as for the last goal, what poor defending, but you could see the lads tiring towards the end

Amazing how we have let in goals and lost 2 games as soon as Seedel has been subbed Heybridge 5-2 and last night against Hendon shows you defend from front to back and with him holding the ball as soon as he's off that part of the game goes missing.
