Two of our most loyal fans you two so please be careful. Do not hurt each others feelings now when the chips are down. Drop this rocky stuff.

 

Margate fan is relativily new and i think has seen nearly every match including the away ones. She has been to all the away ones too like Lewis, i know, with the flag and loyal support to the end and that took some doing at Lewis i tell you with the baying fans and the piss taking by some Lew's.

 

Cookie the man who some, and i have told him already, helped save the club in early Jan co-ordinate the fans at town hall and genereally make the council think. he had done this for some time not just in the spur of the moment after Xmas. The invasion of the pitch thing was spur of the moment frustration at the teams apparent demise not meant to threaten the officials. Believe me i've seen officials threatened in the past as sometimes they could not get down the steps at Hartsdown before the days of stewards.

 

You two are genuine day in day out fans who make excellent contributions to this site. Indeed since the loss of some of our fans the forum has rarely plumeted the depths of Porkas and that was not his fault.

 

Debate great but you two are more dedicated than i am despite my 45 years watching. See you both saturday with the flag. See you and your dad hopefully Tony getting behind the team.

Guys, I wasn't getting at Tony, he knows I love him. I just do not like injustice in any form. And I have become very fond of all the team, us all having been through so much. It's the mum in me.

PS Lewes was dedicated to Bill, despite the awful result!

Totally agree - whilst I might not always agree with opinions of others, I would never suggest that they aren't true fans - we all have our own motivations for being fans to whatever degree suits us as individuals and the forum gives us the opportunity to share and debate our opinions. Personally I wouldn't bother to reply to an anonymous post or take notice of it as without an identity there's little point (but then we've had that debate before!)

I have just spoken to cookie on the phone and he assures me he has no argument with Margatefan(June). He believes she is one of those fans that you really CAN call a fan. Its not with her at all that he has a gripe with. There seems to be some confusion there.
