Sponsored walk to Gladwish land

Worthing FC have announced a new sponsorship deal with GLS, which includes changing the name of the Woodside Road stadium to 'The Victor Gladwish Stadium'. As one of the people doing the sponsored walk I have to say that I am sickened at the thought of walking 62 miles to step foot into his ego. I will still do the walk but I'm seriously considering boycotting the game when we get there.

what they mean is they sell the land alone....not with planning permission i.e. if someone bought the land they'd hae to obtain PP seperately

It's great that he's dishing cash out left, right and centre to non league clubs - but he is has a seriously massive ego...has pulled the plug on sponsoring crawley for not displaying his advertising prominately enough during a live Sky game...also sacked another low leagued sussex county club after one of his emails he sent with another one of his instructions was commented on by the club secretary - something like another email from that ******* - unfortunately she hit reply rather than forward!

I see in the local rag he is putting up 30 Grand a Season for 5 Seasons ! Apparently though he is allowed sole use of the ground whenever he wants which would be worrying if you turned up for a match and found he was using it. The Worthing locals think he is great, but as previously said he withdraws his cash at the slightest upset ! Hopefully they will change their nickname at Worthing as well so that we become the only REBELS !
