Season ticket prices

Recommended Posts

Can someone from the club (Dave any idea?) please expalin why:

As a current season ticket holder (or just a regular fan) I can get a £15 discount if I apply for my new season ticket before the end of April but

Someone who is a member of a previously unrelated social club can get a £20 price reduction if they apply for a season ticket before the end of May??

Surely it should be the other way round or at least the same. Why am I being disadvantaged? please explain??

I believe that everyone will get the £20 discount if they join Beauwaters by the end of May.

My understanding is, and I will check this out, is that if you buy your season ticket early and then join Beauwaters, you will get a further refund of £20.

...wow! cash back!!
However it still remains that as a current member of Beauwaters you still get a bigger discount (and a month more to pay) than a current season ticket holder. That does not seem fair or am I missing something?

You could be missing that they want you to join Beauwaters.

The early payment discount is not limited to current season ticket holders, but open to anyone who wants to buy a season ticket before 30th April, so you are not getting any benefit as a current season ticket holder.

They are two different schemes, and both are open to everyone.

How much does membership of Beauwaters cost?

This is still being worked on, and Beauwaters doesn't have a website.

Will we see Beauwaters affiliated to the GNFC official site then squire??.. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Slarti dear boy, you misunderstand moi..!!

It makes sense for GNFC to have Beauwaters heavily linked to it's official web-site which is currently Mr Holden's fine site..! Moving forward, I guess the absolute official web-site should have both ventures.. Beauw and GNFC (makes more sense from a 'generating' business perspective)..

Then again I could be talking complete 80110k5..!

..yes Dave I appreciate what you say but current members of Beauwaters are getting the best of the offers. As part of their current membership (at no extra cost) they get the biggest discount that is only available to others if they spend money joining. I just wondered why they are getting a better deal, rather than say existing seasonticket holders or even current fans who are likely to buy early and as yet there has not been an answer!

You are assuming that the current members of Beauwaters paid no membership fee. I don't think that this is the case.

I asked whether, for example, Trust members would be given reduced price membership of Beauwaters, and part of the deal is that new members would not be given cheaper membership that current members.

This implies that the cost of membership will be the same for all.

...I assume nothing. As en ex-member of Beauwaters I know they do pay a membership and it is a fair amount but as it was so long ago when I was a member I can't remember how much it was.

All I am asking is why do they get a £20 discount and early bookers get a £15 one. Why not the same? Why is their's better?

The answer seesdm to be ...it just is!
