Clarke definitely starts on Saturday. Hints he might make a move for Tomlin come the end of the season. Chris Wild struggled (according to the paper) on Saturday but came through Tuesday with 'flying colours'.

 

Seeby was 'head and shoulders above everybody else on the park' on Tuesday night. Ben Martin is suspended on Saturday and Dean Hooper has a 3-match ban for his indiscretions on Saturday, missing Grays, Havant and Hornchurch, and also has a toe injury. Matt Hann will still be out through injury.

An elememt of hyperbole concerning Chris Seeby form Lord Lippiatt, there, Rob. T'lad had a fine game but I would have said no more than half a head above Walshe{y], Martin[o], Ibe[E-bay], Tomlin[o], Davis[y] and Wild[thing].

 

Wild did well but someone should have a word to ensure that he stays in the back-line of four and doesn't drift back 3 or 4 yards.

 

Incidentally. When you next are granted an audience with the Great Man, you might suggest to him that he instructs that chap what writes his article for the matchday programme to always write 'In the' before the words 'second half'. Similarly its the 'far post' rather than the 'back stick'. No need for this macho football speak cr@p. The trouble is, old habits die hard with Hertsblue.

 

What's happened to Elphick? I hope that the 50/50 injury or whatever it is wont affect his opportunity at Brighton.
