George Borg loses Court Case!

George Borg lost his High Court Trial today,in his attempt to close down Hornchurch Football Club!

I don't know the full facts but believe it to be about his leaving the club and Contract dispute!

Mr. Borg was asked for a Statement ,"$@#^%&*^*(%#$@!@#!^*%&)", He stated.

A Hornchurch Spokesperson, "Were going down the Pub.

THE Braintree Spokesperson, " I don't have any time for Statements......I have far to many Forum Posts to Delete!"

 

Referees had better start wearing tin helmets for all Braintree fixtures from now on!

He'll still be taking another team onwards and upwards, Braintree Town were on the skids at the end of last season and now they are upwardly mobile, the man has something and it seems to work, only sour grapes are from teams he has left cause they couldn't handle his style!

what style is that then flash...

 

certainly didn't have to much style at our place towards the end.....plunged from contenders to 5th in 8 weeks at the end of the season.....didn't achieve anything with us at all with the biggest budget in the league last term....never took the shots up...fcked up ricay and scarpered....been everywhere and is now fcking up your play off chances with his preoccupations....

 

no one disputes his coaching ability...but he's never gonna be a successful manager again....

Going back a fair few years and long before we had heard of Gary Johnson, I was all in favour of the Glovers approaching Borg to be our manager...

He had always seemed to be that little bit better at getting the most out of his teams than anyone else within non-league circles and I thought that he would have been just the ticket for Yeovil.

 

I am now rather glad that we did not go for him... whilst he is certainly a motivator of fine ability, I think that there is a little "je ne sais quoi" missing and he's definitely not the whole hamper !

 

Besides, we did get Gary Who?... and look what he's done for us !

 

**PS** I am a little concerned about our dramatic present loss of form - before anyone else mentions it. Don't know why it is happening, now of all times within the season... but it is causing me delicious thrills of anticipation at 4:45 PM every Saturday afternoon !
