Don't think anybody disputes Rocky's talent, not sure about the work-rate aspect but one thing's for sure - his confidence is shot at the moment.

 

If I was CK I'd tell him three things - 1) turn towards the opponents goal when you get the ball, not away every time as he's been doing recently 2) Don't try and do too much - if there's somebody to pass to rather than taking several defenders on then give them the ball and 3) when the ball comes to you in the penalty area just have a go straight away - he's been delaying too much recently and needs to trust his instinct. When he thinks too much he struggles, most of his best goals for us have come when he's had a first-time effort.

Asosted elsewher, Cookie has stated to me that he was not arguing with MF. It was purely that his post came AFTER hers that has caused some confusion. Whilst MF has a different opinion he knows full well that she is one of those that does say what she feels and he has no problem with that whatsoever. Please can people understand this. Cookie is a bit pissed off with things at the moment and am sure he is feeling the stress of things in the same way as others are.Not just with football might I add(hope I dont get berated for disclosing that).

Just to stir things up a bit more, rather than being concerned with what rocky is or isn't doing at the moment - of far greater concern to me was the way CK sat on the fence next to that traffic cone for the entire of the second half and didn't get up to shout instructions or anything! i would have thought that at a time like this he would be up doing his nut, trying to give the players a kick up the backside that they rightly deserve.

is he resigned to the fact that we seem to be slipping out of this league???

Notice that aswell,gave me concern at the time,when we got our 2nd goal thought he would be up there driving them on.

I think CK should think a bit more Alexis is better in midfield and is costing us in defence. I have always critisised Baptiste, he is too lazy and selfish when he does get the ball. The amount of times he has only just stopped from tackling watson. I think everybody should stop slacking each other off. Just because we are losing att he moment there is no excuse.Wev pulled together before lets do it again. I do believe chanting is important because there was such a difference in play in the second half at Bogner when we started singing. But going to the matches is just as important and |I think the players appreatiate it. Stop squabbling we are in trouble enough. We dont need to foll out as the last of Margates loyal fans

Totally agree with tony m, about rocky. not my favorite but he is what we have. At the beginning of the second half i too stood near the corner by the exits. 3 or for of our more longstanding supporters were lightly slagging off the present players and comparing them and the manager with memories they have of better teams,better managers,better officials the club had generations ago. This i could put up with ,But when this tall well dressed middle aged guy (and his cronies),Whom i personally had not seen before started verbally abusing the players as they ran passed i couldnt put up with it,i flipped and gave him my view on his attitude. Could this person be the one who lambasted CK before also getting a reaction a few weeks ago.Yes we are all frustrated by the situation the team/club find themselves in, turning on one another is not the answer.

What do people expect? We play like tarts in a vital game and the players get stick – big deal! It's happened at football matches since time immemorial. If the players have anything about them (and, to their credit, none of them have complained as far as I know), they will use that abuse to inspire them.

Alternatively, some may be thinking 'I'm leaving at the end of the season anyway, so relegation won't affect me.'

irecon youre very correct anon some of them cant wait for the season to end so they can clear off.however dont they realize that the way they are peforming at the moment they will be lucky to find any team that wants them

cookie calm down mate i for one am on your side what u did was just what most of us just think about doing.most just shout abuse at the officials from a distance.they are mastly total crap.as for free speech it seems if u do not agree with the majority u are a bad supporter what crap rocky and others have been underperforming and need telling if they are not critisied they just carry on. im entitled to my opinion and nobody will tell me any different
