Well said Adam I'm fed up with reading and hearing all this rubbish about Rocky. I think credit should be given to all the players for sticking with the Gate with all that has gone on.

More support for Rocky from me too. Yes, he doesn't take as many chances as we'd like him to. But I'd guess he thinks the same. Haven't read the whole thread so apologies if covered above, but I was really disappointed with those fans on Tuesay that could clearly be heard slagging him off. He (nor any of the other players) deservie it. They are all working hard and they are being affected by the the ground situaion to some extent or other. We all need to get behind all of the players (well let's be honest, there aren't that many) and they all need to be motivated and that's what we can have a big influence on. Let's stick with them BIG TIME!

COME ON YOU BLUES!

Simple fact to remember – fans pay to get into football matches, players are paid to go to football matches. Morally, we have every right to express negative opinions.

He will probably leave at the end of the season, so relegation will not mean much to him. As a fan, relegation does mean a great deal to me.

I have spent large amounts of money travelling home and away to watch the team. He has been paid large amounts of money to be in the team (assuming our players are actually being paid this season!) And people say I must not be critical? B*llocks!

It has to be said that players come and go but the fans are always here so who is it who has the motivation more. I really think this subject has run its course. Many views on both sides. As a stark critic of Rocky of late even I believe its now time to leave him alone on this forum. Its been a good debate. Some agree and some dont. Thats to be expected. All credit to those that speak their minds and not just follow others. Yes, we have all let off steam now on this subject and maybe it is best left alone now.

Personally i think anyone who belittles anyone from our club this season should be ashamed of themselves. The loyalty that has shone through the squad has been of great commendment and not one deserves to be shouted at on the pitch for effort. If shout at Rocky why not Billy, Trego, Kinnear, Piper or anyone else. I'm sick of turning up to games and hearing the same people slag off the same players, its about time they realised their personal criticism isnt wanted only support, leave the bad mouthing to the manager.

oh and we werent all slagging off Rocky when he was banging them in earlier in the season were we now

"oh and we werent all slagging off Rocky when he was banging them in earlier in the season were we now"

No, because when players play well, they get praised. When they do badly, they get criticised. Seems fair enough to me. It happens at every other club in the country, why not here?

I notice Che has made some comments/excuses to Radio Kent about it being difficult to play for the club what with all the ground problems. Does that really stop you heading the ball into the net from six yards (as on Tuesday)?

The problem with our fans is that they will put up with any old sh*te, and, this season, any old sh*te is exactly what they've got.

I have been loath to read this post because of all the muck in it, and even more reluctant to write anything in case that muck rubs off on me and then I would feel as besmirched by it as some of the posters obviously are. But I am truly incensed that such unfair things have been spoken of one of our most loyal players, more so because they have been aired in public in his earshot as well. He has been made the underserved scapegoat for our poor performance this season and it is so blatantly unfair and ungracious of those who have done it. That lad has turned up week in week out for us, played every match without exception and is our second leading scorer. But all this counts for nothing when he makes a mistake because then it is his fault alone that we are not winning every game. What about the mistakes others make? Oh yes, that does not count in our general demise, neither do the injuries or suspensions that rob us of some of our most influential players, nor do the troubles off the pitch, nor does the embargo. Just because he is economical in his movements and does not run around like a headless chicken or wear his heart on his sleeve people think he doesn't care. Well they are wrong, as anyone looking at his performance as a whole on Tuesday would have seen if they were not so utterly prejudiced.

It is not his fault that we are leaking goals at a rate of knots, certainly I have seen him save a few for us from the line. It is not his fault that the service to the front line is often inaccurate lobs, or that when he wins the ball, and he often does with consumate skill, there is no support for him and no-one to pass to.

But hey, what do I know, I am not old, have not been supporting the team for donkeys years, and am female to boot so what would I know about football? I was under the mistaken impression that it was a TEAM game, rather than all results being the responsibility of one player.

And whilst I am here, perhaps it would be better to drop down the the Ryman? What utter b*llocks. What a waste of all the talent and effort over the past few years. We would lose more support, most of our decent players, and would be lucky not to go into freefall like Dover did. Come straight back up, indeed, they were saying that about this season. It rarely happens. Fight to the end, you boobies, never give up, and do not waste energy that could be spent on appreciating the whole team and encouraging them when they most need it in bitching about individuals like so many fishwives.

All right, all right you lot. I will abstain from coming on here if thats what you wish. Its not a problem. I have already apologised for what I did and dont tell me those that were there would have not liked to do the same by airing their views to the lino's face. You all know how bad he was and how every decision was wrong that he made.Thats no excuse however for what I did and its wrong o.k. I was wrong to do it. If anyone wishes to persue this then please face me and continue with it from now on please. Its something I am ashamed of and I regret the action and would just like to let it rest.

As for all your other remarks I will just ignore them as they dont deserve a reply. Absolutely [****!!****] comments.

What is the matter with you lot. We say things that are true and that you are not in agreement with and you all go off on one. You all talk [****!!****] and follow others remarks just to be "one of the boys"

Go and F*** yourselves you hypocrites.

As for the post about Rocky. I for one feel the remarks against him ARE warranted, and those that are backing him up really and honestly know how shitty he is playing. Be F****** honest for once. I did feel that it might be best however to call it a day on this subject because as some of you say it MAY not be doing him any good.It was a gesture if only you could get your blinkers off and see it.

So what happens? You all keep on about it. Hypoctites the lot of you.

I am no different to anybody else no better no worse but at least I say what I feel and think. There are others out there that do the same but most of you dont. SHEEP!

Having thought again maybe I will come back on here as one of those annons and stir things up. You will then have to workout if its me or not. Maybe I will hide and not be open for the abuse that I am wrongfully getting now. But I can take it. Just like payed up footballers should be able to do.As for ticketless travel.I dont give a [****!!****] who pays or who dosent but its wrong and as its my job,I will deal with those who cross my path within thecourse of my duties in the manner that I have been trained, because that is what I am being paid for, just like players are in this game.If I didnt do the job properly I would be spoken to in order to raise MY game or be sacked.

Personnal abuse wont stop me from followoing theteam I have followed all these years neither should it stop a player from performing to his best.

first i have to say that i am one of those that feel rocky has underperformed this season(sorry june) at this stage his effort SHOULD be plain to see but it isnt! i am grateful as a fan that rocky has stood by the gate in the times that we have all been through and that spreads to the rest of the team, however if he performs like we all know he can then this thread would not even exist!

and as for cookie ok maybe he is strong opinionated but that is what all forums are about, it may not be what we want to hear or read but in the most case u see the words I.M.O in his text and that should be taken into consideration, as it was cookie who spent alot of time and effort for this club on the protest, sorry demonstration front, when we needed to get our point accross, sometimes his points are harsh and YES sometimes unjust but that does not take away the fact this this bloke is a DIE HARD BLUE FAN and just because he has such strong and conflicting views does not mean he warrents this abuse he is receiving!!

no i'm not sucking up to him just making my own views on this thread!

and knowing cookie personally even b4 i started watching the gate , i know he is not all that bad!!

so tony when are u gonna pay me my thank you cheque!! lol
