I am afraid i can't agree with that. The only player who is a liability is Alexis - makes mistakes every game. I admit, Rocky's finishing is not what it could be but, otherwise, i feel his overall play is good. Any thoughts?

I agree with seasidesteve. He has not been on form whatsoever and is costing us dearly with his lack of goals. Alex AND peter are both playing out of position and BOTH playing diabolically. The least CK could have done last night was to swap them over.May have made a slight difference, you never know. But it wasnt working the way it was. The first goal came from indecision by Benevides and Gradley both leaving the ball to others. Opponent nicked in to take the goal. We were all so very slow to get to the ball too. We were always a split second slower to the ball than our opponents.

Rocky is a poser, only interested if he can grab a bit of glory. At this level you've got to graft and do the ugly stuff. For a 'talented' player his finishing has been dreadful. Just think, had he taken that header at St Albans, those two chances against Welling at home and scored those two chances last night, we would be clear of the bottom three.

Alex is out of his depth but I would still take him over Rocky - for all his mistakes he tries his hardest.

The only plus to come out of our pending relegation will be that Rocky wont be playing for us next season.

All this about Rocky makes me sick,ok i agree he is not playing well.I think he knows that but he puts on the blue shirt and trys his best,he dont miss goals for the sake of it,while on this subject the so called fans in front of the tea hut last night shouting in his face to get off, some bloody fans they are,a player knows when he is playing bad and imo fans should try to lift him rather than put him down, but of course all thease so called fans have all played at a higher level.

I HAVENT PLAYED AT A HIGHER LEVEL TONE AND I WAS GOING BY THAT WAY WHEN I TOO SAID FOR HIM TO GET OFF. SORRY BUT HE HAS HAD NUMEROUS CHANCES TO SHINE BUT JUST STROLLS THROUGH THE GAME. IF WE HAD A DEEPER SQUAD HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED AGES AGO. THE FACT THAT HE IS AMONG A SMALL SQUAD AND THAT SOMETIMES IS ALL WE HAVE. SO IN THAT SENSE MAYBE YOU HAVE A POINT WITH THE SUPPORT. BUT PLEASE DONT EXPECT US TO PRAISE A GUY WHO IS UNDER-PERFORMING WHEN ITS NEEDED MOST. I AM ONE OF THE GUILTY ONES TONE,SORRY. ITS REALLY UP TO HIM TO STICK OUR WORDS UP OUR A*** ISNT IT?

He needs to know that his workrate is lacking.Maybe he thinks he's doing o.k. He has to up the ante, so to speak. Whatever his mode of play, whatever his normal game is,he must do more and get stuck in, just like the others should. This is a time to give more than usual.Besides I think with the addition now of a goalscorer(who may not do it again) he may well be dropped and replaced up front. To me the front line could be Jjunju,Stadhart,Sasha with Rocky and Watson on the bench. Rocky needs a jolt and dropping him, despite the lack of squad numbers would have ,could still do him the world of good. No-one should be irreplaceable yet I think in his mind that he thinks he is.

Quite agree tony rocky's performances havent been of any sutible quality of late but he doesnt deserve a firing squad of abuse u could see all the players were guted we had lost and they didnt need any heckling as well.

Now as for the peeps that did abuse him why didnt u come and sing with the rest of us dureing the game,

or can u only find your voice when its time to abuse a player?

For a team under a transfer embargo we should be trying to get behind all the players that we do have. It can't help any of the the few we do have to have half the supporters slagging them off at every opportunity - it just heaps more and more pressure onto them and makes it that bit more difficult to get the critical touch or decide on the critical challenge knowing they're likely to be ridiculed if and when it goes wrong. For a team struggling to survive we do sometimes seem to behave in a totally unrealistic manner!

Couldn't agree more. There were a handful of us singing to try and lift the team but many of the 'fans' just stood by and criticised...what good does that do? Support your team and you might be rewarded more.

The sad facts of life are that at any club that is performing badly there will be supporters who feel the need to criticise. Just because of the extraordinary predicament we are in doesn't make us any different to anyone else. It has been a frustrating last two years for the management, players AND SUPPORTERS - it is only expected that some will let their frustrations out particularly when they see players consistently under performing as is the case with Baptiste. I agree it doesn't necessarily help the confidence of the player(s)but the only way they will stop it is to perform to their potential and let their boots do the talking. No one will criticise Rocky if he nets the crucial winner on Saturday.

I would like to know how all that consistent cheering helped the team last night? Did they react to it? Did they play good football? Did they get a result? No is the answer to all these questions.

We expect those that play to have some skill but when they dont perform it gets to people. Some supporters are young and sing, but I guarantee you that the most that do sing are no different to those that moan. Frustration gets the better of some and I should know.Dont you dare tell me that some of you that do sing dont shout abuse at certain individuals lack of effort or mistimed shots at goal. Some of you do. Dont keep knocking those that strive for good football and a more sustained effort. If they that are moaned about cant take it then they should not be out there playing. Am sure that when they get the plaudits they arent upset. It works both ways. Us older fans who have followed this club for many years are entitiled to give their opinions to or at a player. It is mostly with the intent on getting them to pull their socks up. It shouldnt affect them in the way you mention. We oldies may feel silly to cheer. Dont forget at a young age we probably all DID sing. But in these later years it may not be the thing to do. All credit to you who do but get off others backs that dont. Being older the majority of elders are more reserved.

Perhaps NOT cheering will get the team to produce the goods.
