It is a huge mountain to climb and, frankly, if we cannot beat St. Albans at home, we will need divine intervention to get anything against Dorchester, Eastrbourne, Havant of Bishop's Stortford. I can only hope that Stortford do us a favour tonight and beat Newport. Does anyone know who Newport's game in hand over us is after they play Stortford. For most of the season, i have been optimistic but, after last night, i feel we are doomed. Despite that, i will still follow the blues and can make avery game except Eastbourne away. Until the bitter end, we will fight.

I am with you Michael.I know I tend to look on the bright side of things and still try and show the confidence but in reality I too can see no way back for us. However Newport could lose all their games as we could and then it wil be on GD therefore tonights Newport game is yet another extremely important one.If they lose by a lot more goals than us then we can still make it. Long hopes I know but achievable.

Certainly cookie. May i add, you may think you were out of order, and although i feel you probably also should not have done it, i understand why you berated that linesman. The officials gave them everything and i am sure, if i was in a similar position, i would have done the same thing. So, from me at least, there are no hard feelings.

Geoff. Until tonight we were on the same points as Newport but were 4 points adrift of Carshalton and playing catch-uo. Looks like its going to be the same now with Newport. But even after tonights game we will still only be 3 points behind Newport and not 4. They are both our immediate rivals but surely Newport are the ones we should be looking at.

take it on the chin we are going down end of story why look for other teams to slip-up we all thought oh we will go staight back-up all the easy games at the start of the season that you were all on about thats where the points should have come from have you ever heard of easy games in the relegation zone.
