BPM-TV

Recommended Posts

As a fan of all things 'club' and 'extreme sport', I have been looking forward to the launch of BPM-TV for a good couple of years now.

Having read their website in Summer 2003, we were promised that this station would be on air by the Autumn, and when that didn't happen, one of their key presenters assured me that I'd have to wait no longer than "6 to 8 weeks".

This was 18 months ago.

I wonder if anyone can shed some light on what's happening here, because at the moment I'm having to trapse through various websites to find out about the latest X-box and Playstation 2 games, and it would be much more convenient for me if I could just tune into BMP-TV to keep up to speed.

Wow ! This sounds like the sort of channel most 16-30 year olds are crying out for.

Clubbing tips, extreme sports, playstation games. As far as I can see, the only thing missing from making this the best channel on the air is some sort of music angle. Maybe along the lines of the early 90's Indie scene, or no, why not go one better and focus on the new projects that the prominent members of the early 90's indie scene are now working on ?

This tv station cannot come soon enough as far as I'm concerned. Any chance of speaking to the key presenter and find out what is happening regarding this and a potential launch date ?

The other thing that I'd quite like to see; and this is a bit novel so don't shoot me down in flames; is something along the lines of a "sports memorabilia home shopping channel" but instead of dull dreary presenters, how about injecting a bit of comedy into the proceedings. Presenters along the lines of Ricky Gervais and Jimmy Carr perhaps. I realise that there is no point in overcrowding the studio with presenters, so maybe some sort of up and coming comedian who is a hybrid of the two would be an idea.
