only good thing i can take from the game is the fact SAS came 15 mins to the end, and scored a lovly 30 yard lob over the keeper and later followed up on that with a good finish, ross was solid also...

I bet CK wont start with Sash although I feel he should and echo the above sentiments. Watson was appalling last night. May be drop Rocky into midfield as he will not score again this season, perhaps he can turn into a provider. I would then put clarke as left wing back and play Alex in midfield. If he plays alex at wing back again it will be suicide. JK must come in for Edwards who I am sorry to say is well past his prime now. If CK starts with same 11 that started last night we have no chance of saving ourselves. Lets hope B Stortford can keep our hopes alive by winning tonight. Sas will start ck said so. Please dont worry about Newports score its Carshalton with perhaps the problems. Although 4 points above us they dont play on sat and have very tough fixtures left.

With Newport, Geoff, regardless of games to play we are ,after tonight 3 points in arrears and are as you say 4 points behind Carshalton. We therefore need to win 1 game by a lot more goals than conceded to be level or above Newport. With Carshalton we need to win 1 & half games just to get level.

Geoff, is there such a thing as an easy game in this league? Grays are in a league of their own but apart from them anyone can beat anyone on the day.

We just have to catch up with Carshalton first though. No easy task. And then and only then we will have to watch for their results.If we dont catch up with them it will be immaterial as to who they are playing from now on.
