Hopefully this is the reserves final fixtures list.

 

Wednesday 6th April 2005 away to Waltham Forest 7.45 pm kick off

 

Wednesday 27th April 2005 away to Chesham League Cup Final. 7.45pm

 

Thursday 5th May 2005 Home to St Albans 7.45pm kick off

 

Thursday 12th May 2005 Home to Hitchin 7.45pm kick off

 

If you have been following the league Bishop stortford have finished their fixtures, and with three games left we need to win them all and with a few goals in each to better Thurrock on goal difference,as we will already overtake Bishop Stortford by scoring the odd goal in each win, so here is keeping everything crossed.

Its a shame we are playing the league cup against Chesham at Chesham I am sure a few of you would have come to watch the match, but the fixtures are nothing to do with me , I only pass on the info. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Assuming we beat Waltham Forest, therefore, we will know how many we need to beat St Albans & Hitchin by to win the league, as Thurrock play their 2 games against Waltham Forest on 13th & 18th April.

 

A crafty move as well, playing the League Cup Final, and the last 2 league games after the end of the 1st team season - if we really want to win these competitions, much easier to play a few first teamers. (Mind you, I suppose that does put the value of the reserve league title, in particular, into perspective)

Bad news we only managed a draw last night at Waltham Forest it was

1-1 , so I am afraid that is the end of the league for us , we could get runners up but that depends on Thurrocks last two games and how we do as well. as to the first team being available we only had James Pullen and Adrian Dean last night, the rest were PASE boys.As the last games are after the end of the first team season, I dont think they are available as their contracts may have ended after the last game,but dont quote me on that. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Thurrock lost their penultimate game 3-1 to Waltham forest, so victory in our last 2 games will see us finish second.
