Next Season's Admission Prices

Recommended Posts

no problems mate. just a misunderstanding.

but that is one thing i do not do, aswell as heckle our own players .

i find it bizarre why anyone would not want new fans at the club and why anyone would shout at your own players. but then again its a funny old game, can you imagine roy and macca fighting? no neither can i. I'm sure the toon army thought along those ines b4 sat aswell.

Blimey... is this the reason for the price hike...? Half-time fights between disgruntled players...?

Excellent! Put me down for two tickets for the Sidibe/Gledhill bout and my money's on McKimm. Roy may have both the reach and height advantage but I reckon Macca is a little like Roberto Duran - tigerish and tireless!
Or is this merely just another misunderstanding!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

People laugh at the price already when ask me how much i pay. I hope this does not make our crowds smaller. fairweather fans (who we need to become hardocre in the future) ae gonna be more reluctant to pay the extra 2 quid. i can see we will have to increase to help go full time. Just hope this is not too soon. I will not be getting a season ticket due to work committments, but I the price would not have put me off, if work was not an issue.

I have to say I share COE's concerns. Of course, if the same fans that have gone this year turn up next year, the 20% increase in gate revenue would be very welcome. But since the acquisition of new fans is vital to the club's plans for full-time football being seen through, this price increase could be somewhat off-putting to the casual supporter. It will be interesting to see how these prices compare to those of Conference sides next year who will finish near us in the table this season (York's League football prices aside).

The renewal forms are at the back of the season ticket book so you can renew as soon as you like.

£12 is a lot of money for non-league football. Fulltime or not. I think it will kill off the casual supporter.

Miserable B'stard !!

"kill off the casual supporter" ? Wear a suit & tie then !! or Sports casual maybe ?

Can't even get a pint of Shandy for £2 now...you'll have to cut down !!

Cheers,

Gillingham charged £36 against Leeds earlier in the season - I believe the 'cheapest' tickets were £26!
Now that is what you call taking the piss.

The thing is, if the club are challenging for the play-offs next season, I'm sure all the casual supporters will cough up £12 without any problem.

Except for the freeloaders who enter via the away turnstiles, that is.

Come to think about it, what are the club doing about the freeloaders?
