Next Season's Admission Prices

Recommended Posts

People laugh at the price already when ask me how much i pay. I hope this does not make our crowds smaller. fairweather fans (who we need to become hardocre in the future) ae gonna be more reluctant to pay the extra 2 quid. i can see we will have to increase to help go full time. Just hope this is not too soon. I will not be getting a season ticket due to work committments, but I the price would not have put me off, if work was not an issue.

Maybe the fans do pay the players wages after all? As indicated in a previous thread where there was discussion about whether this was the case or not.

The fact the prices have gone up in conjunction with full-time football, would suggest the fans are being asked to help finance the Club transition to full-time. Personally, I have no problems with this - if it means the Club moving forward they can charge me £20 a match.

The key thing is the Club has decided to keep matchday tickets for family and juniors at special prices so the new prices hopefully wont deter more families attending games.

Where do I buy a season ticket from...? I've never bought one before so I don't know. Although the Club Shop does seem a sensible guess.

Erm, I'm about to show my embarrassing lack of knowledge...where's the Terrace,Wing Stand and Centre Stand? My guess is that the Terrace is where most Fleet fans stand at the moment, the Centre Stand is the seats opposite and the Wing Stand is...erm...near the away fans...?

Please don't mock me. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Was that some sort of insult for being a "new" fan?

I've been going on and off since I was 7. This season I have been going far more regularly and have been to every home game since the Barnet game. (and no, I didn't go just because they are top of the league before you say. It was just a coincidence that my mum's boyfriend was going aswell that day so he could take me.) Since then, I've been going on my own to the games. I couldn't do this for the previous seasons simply because I didn't have the money - my mum doesn't get paid much and Dad doesn't live with us. But as I'm now 17, I have a job (and erm, diabetes benefit money...) so I can afford to go.

I don't really see why you made the Notts. County comment. People on here complain about the attendances and then when someone wants to attend more often they are treated as some sort of gloryhunter who's only interested in big games and the Conference-status. I'm not like that. I went when we were in the Beazer Homes Premier, and would still go if we get relegated to the Conference South and worse.

Although I doubt you really care, I didn't go to the Notts County game. (I take it you are referring to last season's Cup tie?) However, I did go to the game against them that was played at the Priestfield a few years ago.

look mate before you get out of you pram. I was making that comment as I thought it might jog your memory as to where the office is. I have only been there once, and it ws to get my ticket for the notts county game.

Since then I ahve only been round that side of the ground walking in to a couple of reserve games.

My season ticket was purchased by a mate who bought about 4 at oncve i think.

So before you go shouting your mouth off, maybe you should consider how many timesyou have read my comments about newcomers. I have never said anything bad about "new" fans. I am one my self. This seasons season ticket was my first.

Hey, I'm really sorry mate. But considering some comments that are made on this board about new fans, your comment would've made perfect sense to be a dig at me.

I don't know anyone personally on this site and don't pay extra special attention to any certain individual's posts, so I didn't know whether or not you make comments about new fans just I've witnessed it on this board before and your comment could easily be taken as a remark about new fans, "gloryhunters" etc.

Anyway, I'm sorry. It was just a misunderstanding. Sorry.
