Full Time Football

Of course, FF, if this combination is sufficient along with our current attendances to start the ball rolling, then fine. But it all depends on how much the plans rely on a big boost in attendances to be carried through effectively.

Not at all from what Brian was saying this morning.

Would you care to enlighten us, Dave?

Does that mean the board feels an eventual complete transition to full-time football with attendances remaining static at the current average is achieveable?

I just heard a brief soundbite from Brian on RK a few minutes ago. It didn't answer my question about the possibility of fully full-time football even with static attendances, but it was presumably an abridged version of the earlier interview, so I'll take your word for it.

However, the soundbite did serve to answer Harry's earlier question:

Harry J Allstars said:Also does anyone know the answer to my question? Say we see a player with amazing quality and want to sign him up but he will only stay part time will we go for it or will we leave him? If it happens this summer then surely we'll sign him up? We will already have a few part timers, one more won't hurt. But if it happens say five years down the line then we may thik again.

Brian said that the club would predominantly be interested in full-time players, but wouldn't necessarily be put off signing part-time players if it felt they were good enough.

My plan's this week include;

Winning £44 million on Friday, courtesy of the Euromillions Rollover.

Placing £20 million in a trust fund, with the interest going to The Fleet once a year. That way, I'll never lose my money.

Now all I need to do is buy the tickets and cross my fingers.
