i cant do every team but will name a few players that have stood out to me:

etfc: r hall, d allen

burnham: portway, o'riely

romford: cowley, benstock

barkingside: gilley, scott williams

Sawbo: hammick, pike, pearcey

stansted: mercer (when he plays!)

early in the season i seem o remember basildon having a couple of good forwards.

not sure if quinny is still at eaton manor but he is very good.

stittle at brentwood always seems to get a few goals.

concord, not sure of his name little fella centre mid and a skin head. very good player, always stands out to me.

i dont watch you every week so i cant mention the players that dont stand out can i?

give me a break im only mentioning a few of the players in the league that after playing against i have thought have stood out.

sorry to any players i did not include that feel they were worth a mention.

mick, thats him. i spoke to him after we played them and he said he had bad knees but was going to try and play on. he played when they won the league last season. i think he is class. bealy? is that the big ginger defender? yeah good at his job if who im thinking of.

sorry for going slightly off topic then! i thought zody started a good thread that only 1 person had replied to. although i cant name every player of the year for every team i just put the players i felt had stood out to me. agree these are not always going to be the players of the year!

but how is anyone meant to vote for another teams "player of the year" when we hardly see them!

anyway go to bed!

Matt and Dave Allen I think would agree that they have not been the model of consistency this season though both are now in their best form.

Nobody has mentioned Kevin Riley, who I thought was man of the match against Abbey. Yes his first touch often lets him down but he does always seek to recover and when it doesn't let him down he can hold the ball and cause mayhem. Not quite player of the year material but certainly not worthy of the abuse that is sometimes thrown his way and one of the great club men.

Lee Smith is another player who is coming into form at the right time following his injury.

And dont forget Graham Hall who sometimes presents a hang dog outlook but as Abbey realise he does score vital goals at times.

All in all at this stage of the season I sincerely believe that ETFC are at the top of their game and I am looking forward to Saturday.

Sorry I know that this is PoY for the ESL but when Town are playing I only have eyes for one team.

I agree. I'm still on a high from last Saturday! Let's hope Bowers don't bring us down with a bump!

Player of the year Rudi Hall, who else.

Find of the year Paul Campbell, superb full back and not scared to have a run towards goal or to shoot.

I don't disagree either the choice at Town is so difficult and I for one think if we exclude Lee Smiths goals in his own net this is Choppers best season by far. Some years it is easy to say x or y was the best player but this year is a toughie. I never saw myself singing Rudi's praise but he has done well this season.

Best team no doubt in my mind! etfc
