Morning one and all. The draw was not a bad result for you and I hear you could have won it in the end.

Yeading's home and away battle with Leyton looks tough, but so does your five games in the last 14 days.

Still fancy you tho. Good luck with your last six games.

well, from i saw of Yeading on saturday I cannot see them winning all of their remaining games. Just so long as we do our bit I really think we will be ok. We have some tough games to go with Worthing away looking like a tricky one. There are no easy games for anyone now.

your boys need a few wins otherwise that playoff place that looked assured could be sliding away from you. Eastleigh away next saturday will be a big one for you.

Yep, Eastleigh is a big one for us, but then they all are now eh?

Your form of late is superb. Don't get me wrong - I'm not delighted about it, but I'm man enough to know a good side when I see one and wish you well.

How did Yeading conduct themselves on Saturday?

Breif decription of the Yeading antics is on the Ricay-Yeading Thread.

An act of vandalism was found in the officials changing room too, they (Yeading)suggested it might have been the ref..

We also had a car window smashed.

Nice Club Yeading!

They cant say it was their supporters either, as everyone knows they dont have any

I do have a small interest from the start of the season mjt and am presently [****!!****] myself. top 3 would do but even thats not a gimme yet, as it looks like there's six teams for five places. Can't deny that the play-offs have made things exciting but I'll be very happy when/if a top three finish for us is certain.

The Play-offs have certainly kept things interesting.

From what I have seen this season, there is very little to chose between Yeading and Billericay and one is certain to go up (even though we could mathematically still win it!).

Then IMHO it's between ourselves and Braintree to fight out the final place with one of the above. On their day all are capable of beating each other so whoever wins it can say they got there on merit.

But at the end of the day I think Yeading will hang on and as much as I'd love to see us go up, I think Ricay will win the play-offs.

Whatever happens, for us to go from a crap Wessex league side to the edge of the conference is unbelievable in just 3 years. It's been a superb journal so far and if we don't make it this season, I'm sure we will go up next.

As long as Leyton or Hampton don't go up. Leyton are dreadful and Hampton are just a bunch of thugs!!
