Beauwaters Deal completed

Re: Updated News

For me this shows that although Brian is obviously a shrewd business man he is also Human. Brilliant that he is retaining staff and generally keeping the place as open as possible - well done!!

Ps: we may be the last team to play there so come and watch!!

Who the hell are Blast Off!!!! Good that this deal has finally been concluded and as the Chairman says, it gives the Fleet a training ground within a reasonable distance of Stonebridge Road. It is also a good base for fullt time training if we ever get down that road. Been to a few things at Beauwaters over the years and it is a good facility which correctly managed could bring in much needed revenue. This is a positive step forward.

A really good deal by Brian. This looks like the independant income stream we needed to support the club in it's bid for full time football. Who needs a hotel or a casino?

A local Sports and social club already in place could be a potential goldmine. What is needed is to use the clubhouse to it's maximum, live bands, play groups, nursery? creche, use the bar, catering, sports facilites, etc etc etc. the chances to build the club are seeming only limited by imagination. If we can make use of the facilites 7 days a week, and reap, say £100 profit every day, that would net the club a profit of over £350,000 per year. Enough to supplement our ambition.
