Okay, some serious non-drinking starts here.

 

The target? Three weeks, which takes us up to Monday 25th April!

 

Feeling so crap and jaded again this morning - the result of 64 hours pretty much solid drinking.

38 hours now.

 

The old Hot Chocolate trick worked a treat last night. Seriously fellow strugglers, have a hot malted drink when you get in from work, and you won't be interested in drinking alcohol!

 

Got to get going on these smoothies again too, really. Managed to make a couple of half-decent ones last week, but haven't bothered since Friday - think I'll do bananas, strawberries and blackberries tonight. Blackberries is the ingredient, I reckon!

 

Was meant to be meeting the Thorns for a pint at lunch today, but can't do that anyway as Mrs Z needs my assistance at home, so temptation's out the way there.

 

And it's Mrs Z's 30th this weekend, so my 3 weeks without could be under threat.

 

Still, if I do drink, it will only be champagne.

i think the bananna is 'the' ingredient followed by grapes ..

anyway im getting on it tonight will have to train through the pain tom as im also on a 2 week fitness blast for the last snowboard trip of the season.. careful with the hot chocolate C.Z. its full of salt rather surprisingly

Salt? Didn't know that.

 

Still, I don't stick salt on any of my food so the Hot Chocolate probably sorts out my recommended daily intake!!

try making your own.. boil some water.. pour in into a cup n make some tea.. then get two 500 gram bars of your fave chocolate.. put on the telly and eat..

Have you tried Kiwi Fruit yet?

yup.. supposed to be really good for you.. mango n pineapples with some peach yogurt works well

Yeah, my very first smoothies had kiwi fruit in them! They're a bit 'pip'-py, though.

 

CANV - one of the stewards at St Albans used to drink pints of beer with a Mars Bar in them. With some moderation, that could make a pretty nice drink!!
