It wasn't me.

 

The simple fact is that I have made quite a few posts, being both encouraging and explanatory about the whole situation, to Chris. The response - nothing. he hasn't actually addressed a single one of the points about netiquette/behaviour that I've couched in the nicest terms.

 

That, alongside Marc's matter-of-fact statement makes me think that if he isn't just a random troll or gertcha then he's got the sort of social interaction problems that I just don't have the time or inclination to deal with.

 

You say that it's 'just the internet', but that means that it can be as important or as pointless as you want it to be. The problem arises when people try to make the pointless important and vice versa.

 

There's no way that I'm going to let this draw me into arguing with the people I do like on here, so I'll leave it at that. I for one will not be responding to any of Chris's posts until such time as he has established how 'real' he is (see Marc's comments) or reins in his behaviour.
