As far as this thread and the Oz chap is concerned, I saw the insult concerning the 'mentally unbalanced' bit which, whilst long-winded, I thought was quite clever. Not that I supported its target, of course.

 

I didn't spot the reference to paedophilia, however. Where was it?

The peadophile rant was after a bit of banter between me and Mark Flag and has been deleted. Gazza you are indeed a precious one. Now like always I'll explain a few points regarding my posting.

1. The main issue of course was a Braintree supporter not enamoured by Mr Borgs behaviour.

The other bit was a joke I recieved in my inbox from someone else who thought it amusing as I did as well. Now the explanation as to why no one should feel insulted. If a survey of the British public found that one in four of the populace was employed in the retail trade and three people you think of are not that doesn't make you a shopworker for chris-sakes. Likewise no one said you were mental. The story has no logic and you couldnt see it - thats the bottom line.

You harass Mark flag. inferring he's humourless etc. Yet Mark flag I can assure you hasn't a bad bone in his body and when you're like that its hard to understand why others would want to hound you. I believe you are just as touchy as your postings are bearing out. Now have a good day and btw you won't catch me swearing at you, I find you kind of cuddly (in a truly plutonic way of course). I tried the hand of truce(several times)...........And it got bitten off.........Guess if you have never had a sense of humour, there is no chance what so ever of acquiring one!

Harmless fun is seen as personal criticism, sausages ,pork chops and any mention of food is banned. In the Kingdom of Mark, if he doesn't like it, it gets deleted. Time Ian had a quiet word in his ear about the use of Moderators Powers and the abuse thereof!

I was more alluding between myself and Ozt*t, TC... I just give up with the guy...you banter, he comes on all serious...slagging off moderators that misuse their powers without any reference to what his own moderator say's and does.. hear hear! Mr yellow. I find it all quite amusing. Mr AFF With regards the last time I was at Cressing Road, last game of last season. No tell a lie It was at a pre-season friendly in July that after 25 months stay over in the old country. So not really all that long ago, I expect to be in the UK for a couple of months next season as well.

End of last/start of this season, eh? Time flies. Was that when Graham Roberts was flying in twice each week from Spain [occasionally] to manage the Mighty Iron? Or were transatlantic negotiations in place between Cressing Road and the Tampa Bay Galaxy before George Borg was released and appointed? The 06.30 red-eye from Stansted to Orlando and back before midnight the same day. Phew! More than once, no doubt. The things these people will do for love of the game. Just imagine the airmiles that were clocked up.
