If you get 4th Well done but I can't see you lot holding on. The run in's are similar but I feel your lot are on a bad run since Xmas and we will catch you. (I reckon within 2 games). I amy be wrong but we will see.

Good solid sensible reasoning.
You Barstud, I feel you might be right after that abysmal failure at the mighty, NOT, Baggies.

really wanna go there not crappy p.bar.

Looking forward to meeting Burnham Ramblers in the Southern League next season to try and gain revenge for our FA Cup defeat there last season. Seems quite a likely possibility to me!

All welcome at our place tonight. Three points tonight and three more on Saturday at Hanwell will leave us one point away from the title. The place might be a bit "crappy" at the moment, Junior, but that's only because of the building work going on that will give us our ground grading by 30 April.

PBTFC, just curious, but did you have any problem with planning permission?

I ask because, human nature being what it is, and the protest-group/object to everything mentality in this country, it seems that any attempt by a football club to improve its facilities is met with howls of protest from the local busybodies who seem to think that a new covered standing facility for 100 persons is tantamout to Man Utd moving in!

Just wondered, no ulterior motive. Good luck with it, and I look forward to Enfield Town meeting you in the Southern League next season. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

We have all the planning permission we need and have had for several years. Once we built the new stand (some four years ago now) the work we had planning permission for had officially "started" so we now have as long as we need to do anything else. Very useful for the situation we find ourselves in at the moment!

We tried to get to sawbo, but took 45 minutes to get from ET to the M25 (and it wasn't even skip mans fault!)

so took a detour to PBTFC, junior, the palce is fine, in fact betta then some places we have been this season.

thought PBT look a bit edgy, seriously hope the pressure is not getting to you

and glad to see the officals have been to the ESL school of referees ! Fruitbat would have had a field day with them.

so big question do we go to Bowers tonight, and qualify for our "ground hoppers badge"??

Well we missed the expected incursion of Towners at Crofters last night. Poor Game, bobbly pitch.

Last min winner from Abbey- I thought a draw would have been a fair result, but alas not to be. We made too many mistakes in defence and midfield all through the first half leading to their goal - A definate goal of the season contender set up by confusion from the two Sawbo centre halves. We steadyed the ship in the second half and played some good football in patches. Abbey still had a few one on ones but nothing of note for either keeper. 10 mins to go we equalised through Pikey - great header. We thought we had Abbey on the ropes and we would nick the game ourselves.

Last min. Free kick needlessly given away 15 yards outside the box. crossed in low to the back of the area slotted in from 10 yards unmarked. Dissapointing to say the least as we seem to have gone asleep. No marking - never held the high line. Add to that the ball went in the near post and we are not a lot of happy bunnies at the moment

I thought I would buy a cat so I could kick it when I got home.

A bit of a Burberry burgalry so to speak.

yeah it was a poor game to play in! almost who could kick it furthest! what a poor ref too. it was like for 10 mins he would give everything to you then 10 mins everything to us or whoever shouted the loudest.

where was hammick last night? i played in the same side as him a few years back...good player. also how comes the right midfielder never started?
