Can we all please help this very worthy cause. Enfield Town will not be promoted and are looking for some very good excuses for reasons - please add to the list:

 

the refs were anti town

 

the ref blew up early

 

the balls were rubbish

 

jim said something about burnham in the papers

 

our fans are losers

 

we need to get out more

whoever gets promoted will be the team that deserves it becasue of their performance, on the pitch, their ground, their finances and any other obstacles the FA want to put in the way of all clubs at this level

But if every club has the same commercial benefit to the opposition and level of support, everybody would be looking to preserve their coastal day out at Burnham rather than visiting Brimsdown. Its the commercial differentials that create jealousy, as Meridian so clearly demonstrates.

So recognising that everything's not equal, supporters not connected with Town or Burnham ought to be getting behind the side with the least commercial value to their club for promotion......Abbey!
