Saturday v Yeading (Mk II)

So, the big one this Saturday then. Hopefully should be a bumper crowd, ive roped in at least 4 friends so far to come along with me, hopefully lots of people will do the same and make it a good atmosphere.

Yeading had a big fuss over playing two ineligible players in Mondays county cup final against Hampton. Check out their forum:

for the biggest load of whinging bitter Hampton fans. Doesnt look like theyre gonna let that one drop. Anyway lets just hope theyre distracted by that storm in a teacup.

I predict 3-2 win to us, Elder, Game and Wareham score. Crowd 650, 3 and a half from Yeading.

After Monday my team would be, providing Dormer is fit, the same starting XI. If Dorms hasn't recovered then Cuz as replacement. Hard lines for Cuz, Ross and Trotty, who in my opinion dont necessarily deserve to be on the bench, but after City I dont think you can change anything.

 

Hopefully another big crowd for the boys, who obviously relish the atmosphere (If we get 700, with the customary 4 from Yeading, should be a cauldron). With the same level of commitment and spirit as we have showed recently and there is no reason why we cant get a result.

 

For my money, its gonna be all about the battle in the middle of the park, and as a wiser pundit than me once said, 'At this level its not about ability, its about temprament'

It's going to be a lot tougher than Wealdstone or Chelmsford. Both sides witll fancy their chances of scoring goals, so it could come down to who defends the better.
