Just seen an interesting site on Aldershot forum. It shows the attendance stats from Premiership right through the pyramid. It shows margate had a -59.8% drop on last seasons average and this seasons.

Playing at Ashford might have something to do with those figures. The percentage playing at Dover must have been bad but going to Ashford meant less could get there hence a poor rating and a large drop in percentages. Get back home and all those who have been unable to get to both Dover and Ashford will re-emerge and make our percentages soar again.

There will have to be a publicity blitz in the summer. How about MISA producing matchday posters to distribute to fans' workplaces/homes/pubs etc?

Ive seen something interesting and i know that Kent Cricket Club do this on the sturry rd,Canterbury. I wonder whether we could put adverts on the major roads into thanet i.e. Canterbury Rd, Ramsgate Rd,St Peters Rd etc on steaks that can be removed easily.

Do not take it for granted that all the ex local fans are going to come flocking back to HP. I sincerly hope they do,but the arrogant way the hierarchy of the club are expecting it might be a bit unsafe!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

They will come, be sure of that. In whatever league we are in.

There are many out there just gagging to see the "gate" come home and to be able to just pop down the road to watch them. We're not called the "gate" for nothing.
