We've Lost Burton!

Steve Burton has been allowed by Scarborough to join Crawley Town according the BBCi

 

The Seasiders have also allowed striker Steve Burton, 21, to join Crawley Town. Burton had been on loan at Canvey since mid-February but now makes the switch to the Broadfield Stadium.

Mentioned on the Crawley forum, with a certain amount of suprise.

 

The official website on the 14th March said he had signed an extension to his loan contract until the end of the season - however there may be a clause in there that he can be signed directly to another club.

 

I'm not overly shocked - although he has brought some height and speed to our forward play - any more moves and changes during our critical run in........

However, Crawley have released Charlie MacDonald great player but has struggled with injury of late, must be worth a look though!!!

we could always put Ashley in goal and have Danny as a striker, he use to be a CF!!

This evening is the transfer deadline for the Conference, so who's to say we won't have a new player or two?

Dagenham Yellow, Charlie Macdonald has signed for weymouth. he wanted to leave crawley to go to a full time club.

 

Did look a very usefull player though

I remember reading in the NLP that they were hopeing to go full time next season.

 

Not heard of any news on any new signing so it looks like we are going to wait till the end of the season to bring in some new faces
