Just a reminder to all the guys and gals that we have a kick about planned for tomorrow at Lacelles at around 6.15-6.30 to prepare for Sundays big Match.

Hope to see as many down there as possible! (that includes you Foxy!)

p.s I would have sent an e-mail but my hotmail is down.

Nope, just somehow managed to bruise the bones (and even more bizarrely it seems to be bruised between the bones) at the top of my right foot by my toes. The plan is that I'll go through some sort of warm-up on Sunday and if the foot feels fine then I'll play, if not then I'll be in the bar, and in the meantime I'm on an intensive course of treatment (i.e applying an icepack while lying on my [****!!****] while scoffing loads of painkillers)

He's probably buying another one of 'those' magazines from the top shelf from Upton Shops as I have seen him a couple of times in there 'browsing' ;-)

much as i'm enjoying this convo...was wondering if there was any danger of returning it to football for a mo....

Have already spoken briefly to radders about this but thought i would put it up for general discussion...in order to prevent any more injuries i was wondering if anyone would like me to lead a proper warm up on sunday... i know this probably sounds a little OTT and a bit ponce-like, but i religiously do it before any exercise and haven't been in pain afterwards for years...

all it would involve would be a bit of jogging (NOT FULL OUT PELTING) to raise the heart rate and get the blood to all the muscles, then some gentle stretching..will take 5-10 mins at most...

let me know what you think

Yep

Sound great Charlie, i'm a great believer in warming up, and down as well, but usually don't get a chance when we do the five aside as as soon as we get there we have to get playing!
