Why is everyone saying Daish is'nt a good manager? Ford wasnt any better, he let Shearer and Moore go and bought useless players (i.e Popovic). If you look at that 14 game run without winning when Ford was in charge and look at the games we've won now (Scarborough, Canvey, Tamworth e.t.c) We would of won half of them games if Ford was still there. Daish is a good manager. I know Ford Bought in good players (Pullen, Bunce ...) but we did not win any matches. Give Daishy a chance?!?.

I fink Daish has done well so far, shame about moussa but hes only got for a month. Ford did some weird signings, he bought players that we didnt need. I think Daish is better. What about u?

For Gods sake! Give the man a fair crack of the whip.

With only seven games left we aren't going to make the play-offs. In fact with some tough games still to play, we aren't guaranteed a midtable finish. The best we can hope for this season is to stay in the Conference, two more points will confirm this.

This season really has been a rollercoaster ride, for the club, the players and the fans. As high as third, pushing for promotion in October. Followed by free fall down to sixteenth by December. Since then holding our own just below midtable.

Recent results have not always been inspiring, even the wins have been hard fought. What we must all remember is that Liam is managing another mans squad. He came in at a time when relegation looked an 'unbelievable' possibility, since then he has stopped the rot. He hasn't turned things around, and in the time left it's unlikely he will have the greatest effect on the rest of this season. However, come next season Liam can start afresh. He has the Boards confidence and backing, and only then will he be able to keep or bring in the players he believes can perform best for Gravesend and Northfleet.

It's a thankless task being a football manager, we all want to win all of the games all of the time, but it just can't happen. So, Liam the best of luck for the rest of this season and here's hoping that your future with Gravesend and Northfleet FC will be a long and illustrious one.

But a "quality player" who made regular mistakes nonetheless. So where is he now in fact? Interesting Portsmouth doesn't equate to actually joining them. Also I thought your comment re Andy Ford to be harsh. kmj.

I think some us on here have been a little cruel to Mr Diash, especially after the FA Trophy exit when I for one was totally baffled by his tactics. However, he does derve a fair chance and I think it is next season on which he should be judged, so we will see. I hope he proves to be the right man for the job and the club does move forward. Think it is hard to keep some players happy when they don't automatically get a game every week, I suppose that is a problem that all football teams have!!!!

How true!!! Think Sir Alex truggled for a couple fo seasons and was only saved from the sack (so rumour has it) by an FA Cup win. Less we forget, it took Andy Ford some time to build a good squad which then started to win more and took us too the Kent Senior Cup victories and the Ryman League title. It did not happen overnight. So, I guess that means that Mr Diash deserves a fair crack of the whip. But just to be a devil, what happens if at the start of the next season, we go 10 games without a win, will the board panic and sack the manager!!!!

Wait a minute, Jose Mourinho came into Chelsea with loads of money to spend so their is no comparison to be made. When Ferguson took over at Man Utd they did not have the funds to but a lot of big name players. Well I admire the work that Mourinho has done at Chelsea, it has been bank rolled by Mr Abramovich!!!!!
