Another superb performance by the lads, thought we solid through the whole team.Aarron was a giant in defence, and Mark showed his class in midfield, and what can you say about our man tostao, what a find, sorryto see darren go but this guy is the ideal replacement, and liam ran his socks off again does he never tire.I think we have shown everyone we are here to stay.

Just back from overseas. That was my first match of the season. Excellent performance. Very well done 'The Fleet'

If anybody wants to see the third goal again I have posted a couple of photos. Use the links below. (You will probably have to cut and paste them into your browser)

Nice pictures!! I thought it was great to see Tostao score!! He is one class act, And i hope he can stay with us as long as we can keep him! He's one class act, hes from Zimbabwe looking at his football, you would more likely think he was from brazil I can see him turning into one of the fans favourites like liam is, he loved scoring today, went into the crowd! well what a result, bring on stevenage!!

wow, what a game. Great to see the Fleet win in style back in the big time. Thought we were strong from 1-11, but my mom was Nick Burton, 2 great headers and a collosus at the back. Also Tostao - what a player!!

Come on u Reds!!

Our first victory in the Conference and it couldn't have been any sweeter.

The consensus was that Nick Burton was suffering from concussion after getting hit in the head by the ball, as he thought he was a 'striker'. Well done Nick. Liam just kept running and running and running and running......

......Tostoa knows more tricks than Paul Daniels, 'You'll like this', he said to Baker, the Hereford keeper. 'Not a lot'. Well done to the entire team, you surely are a 'class act'.

There's not a lot to be added to what's been said so far, a superb all round performance, hard to pick out any individual, Macca's back with his usual performance, Benno's getting stronger every game, Liam and Boothy gave everything, 'Jacko gave his normal captains innings and it shows the team as awhole is getting stronger because he's not standing out quite as much as the last season. A magnificent game for Tostao Kwashi capped by that unique individual effort to put the game beyond Herefords reach. But motm I feel must go to Nick Burton. 2 well taken goals from 3 efforts, an almost faultless performance from his on position and running the whole afternoon to support and cover his team mates. I can see the 'Reporter' scores having a few more 8 out of 10's, maybe a couple of 9's and possibly a 9.5. The defence only let them through 3 times, 1 could have been dodgy, dipping low to Wilko's right post and was competently dealt with, a 2nd was almost a chest high back pass and the 3rd goes into the same book as the Bedford miss and is best not talked about. On top of all this, let's not forget the management team who got the preparation just right again and this time got the result as well.

COME ON YOU REDS

Indeed, a fantastic performance, with Burton, Bentley, Jacko and Liam superb as usual, but my MOTM had to go to the Zimbabwean genius Tostao Kwashi - full of tricks and running and willing to go in for challenges (e.g. his goal - with their 'keeper, trying to better him for skills, only to look like a fool) despite his frail appearance. He definitely has the potential to become one of our key players.

Hereford looked sluggish and short of ideas in attack, and shot their only good chance hopelessly wide, but that shouldn't detract from our wonderful showing, especially brilliant considering the absence of key players (Wilko and Fridge most notably).

7th eh? I think we'd all take that at the end of the season...

The last thing I want to do is give the impression that new faces don't fit and there efforts not appreciated, T.K. had an almost perfect game in mostly his own position, but I thought N.B. just edged it because he didn't really put a foot wrong anywhere on the pitch, and when he came up in open play still managed to get back to cover his own position. And I'm certainly not trying to force my opinion upon anyone else because that's what the board is all about, having your say and respecting others views.

We are in the conference to stay - that's for sure.

We've had 3 great games - today's was SO entertaining!

Great performance by the lads - another good atmosphere in the home crowd - we've even got a drummer now!

As for Tostao - amazing!

Heh heh heh..... we have a new cult hero!

Not much to add to these, except that I was slightly disapointed with the attendance. I would have hoped that a few more locals would have joined the cause. But there again it was a Bank Holiday Weekend and all that.

Did they miss out though!!!

That 3rd goal was unbelievable! And the sight of those disapointed Hereford fans, sort of made up for bad experiences I had up there in the past. If there are any Hereford fans monitoring this, Please acept my appologies but you deserved it!

FAO Carjam

Have you any pictures of the first two goals??

We watch Nick a lot of the time but yesterday had tickets for the cricket at Headingley so we were up at Leeds. What a match to miss for his Haley's Comet-esque scoring record.

Some how memories of a goal away at Chertsey in the FA vase for Hampton a couple of years ago and another for Hampton at Enfield last season don't compare!

Would appreciate it if you could make them available on your isp or any other way.

Thanks

I would just like to say Kwashi was an absolute joy to watch, just like Liam Hatch he was every where. I hope we have the sense to put him on contract otherwise I feel there may be a few Football League clubs snapping at his heels if this form continues. All in all the whole team played well. Shame Darren has left but I feel he would have been a little outclassed. [color:"blue"] [color:"blue"]
