Then again we are dealing with some very stupid people who can't even find the registered button.

Don't let your mouth run away with you eh fella. You don't know me personally and even though I've chosen not to register that doesn’t automatically make me a very ‘stupid person'.

Fair play to you mate I apologise.

I can choose which supermarket, I can't chop and change regarding my local town team. The analogy with the Supermarket is worrying for me, because the local football team should be based on blood, sweat and tears and not just about being a business (Although I understand that you have contributed greatly to GNFC).

My suggestion would be that loyal GNFC supporters deserve to know how things are run, they continually support the team, personally and financially, through thick and thin. If people believe that buying shares is the benchmark on receiving info on how the Club is run, I find that worrying. I believe I am merely mirroring other comments from other people who attend more games then me.

For what its worth, I follow the Fleet occasionally. I applaud greatly, all efforts of the Board and Shareholders, but your based on the support of the fans as well, they deserve more credit then that.

Regarding Full Time, imo no chance, lack of Fanbase. Plus don't believe the standard on the pitch warrants players on Full time money.

I totally agree. Surely a regular at the Fleet dserves to be kept aware of certain issues, which aren't always covered through the Programme, Website, Meeting or Match. That was merely my point. I don't think a regular should necessarily have to buy shares.

In fairness to Anon, I don't think they were demanding how to run the Club, they would leave that to the right people dedicated for such a thing. I think some Supporters would like more information, or access to information regarding the clubs future or certain aspects of its running. If they feel that there is a lack of information, or they wish to have more information, then thats they're choice. Its not just a case of watching your team, a true supporter invests time and money to watch that team, whatever the detriment, and such sacrifices deserve more credit (or information). If that choice is not available for that loyal supporter then does that mean that the Supporter is not entitled to an opinion or dialogue ? Without having to invest more time and money in shares ?

it's hardly an investment

Well without it, surely a football club wouldn't survive?

For sure, I agree with that but paying to watch the Fleet hardly pays dividends.

Greetings Mr Anon.....

We do not "invest" to get a dividend, we "invest" for the love & support of the club.........

...fortunately we can still, just, choose what we do with our money & time....I choose to watch & support GNFC. If it annoys you or causes you grief or distress to do so then you have a choice me ol' china.

Regards,

Annoys me or my cause?

The point I was making is that supporting a football team is not about investments, dividends or profits (maybe a few losses though), It’s about turning up come rain or shine to support your team, and therefore the level of each person’s support shouldn’t be gauged by how much a person chooses to financially contribute.

So get back to your fridge, cos I’m sure there’s a pie somewhere that you could be tucking into, eh fat boy….

Which takes us back to my point that EVERYBODY contributes to the club by turning up to matches?

And in turn takes us full circle to my point that as everybody contributes financially when they pay to watch matches then why should a select few supporters get the right to know more than other supporters simply because they’re shareholders?

Then again it wasn’t me who said this gem…

“What he means is although the companies do rely on the consumer to keep them in business, it doesn't give the consumer the right to demand how the business is run.

Yes folks, this is one football supporter’s comments about another football supporter.
