"Where are you"....."Let's be 'aving you" were the immortal words of football supporter Delia Smith urging her fellow supporters to get behind there beloved team.

What a joy it was to hear the return of our drum, missing for so long and Oh what a difference it makes.

If ever we needed a twelth man it is now and we all owe it to Jeff,Glen & the boys to sing them to Conference survival. With the crowd swelled over the Easter period by playing two of the Conference giants and again this saturday with another tough game against Play-off chasing Exeter lets speak to all our missing regulars of late and get them back to Park Lane and on the Coach to our remaining away games in full voice and make a difference to the atmosphere.

It makes such an impact to the players to here vocal encouragement even when things aren't going to plan and i have seen and heard a lot of comment on team selection/tactics/formation of late some possitive but more negative which of course i understand because we all love our club. With six games remaining let's get behind the boys 110% with all the noise we have so famously been known for in the past, and BANG THE DRUM again........Brilliant !!

one question where was the drum at the start of the season?? i think that would of shut up a few of the away fans then.

Seriously though, its Marks brother's so thats why we havent had it all season, but hopefully he'll be able to bring it to the rest of the games.

Whoops its come out wrong. well you all get the idea. Modern technology just isnt for me.

 

Be good to have the drum for the rest of the season. I reckon we could create plenty of noise at home games under the bus shelter

Think of the noise we've got under there just by singing, having the drum in there would be quality. Maybe a more gifted drum player than myself could get a few original songs going!!!

We had a talented drummer who banged it loud and proud for over five years but he doesn't go to many away games now........!!!

 

Perhaps a word might help. We still have another drum or two gathering cobwebs. They could soon be dusted off ready for action.

What would also be quality would be if everyone brought the flags they bought for the trophy finals. How good would it look with the Main Stand with 10-15 yellow and blue flags flying high!
