Roy - Should he stay or should he go?

With Essandoah just getting a minute or two recebtly - is Daish trying to get him to leave? or perhaps just trying to gee him up? - let's face it he does sometimes need a rocket up his Kaiber Pass! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

To dispel the belief held in some quarters that Roy doesn't contribute enough or get stuck in for the team, here are the Fleet's statistics which appeared in the NLP last Friday before the Northwich Victoria match:-

Player with the most...

Shots: Roy Essandoh 53

Shots on target: Roy Essandoh 28

Shots off target: Roy Essandoh 25

Assists: Justin Skinner 6

Crosses: Lee Protheroe 63

Offsides: Roy Essandoh 31

Fouls: Roy Essandoh 56

Free-kicks won Andrew Drury 48.

Of course we would all like Roy to find the target more but, in the absence of him achieving this, who else is currently doing any better? kmj.

OK. So Roy does more than it appears but my original question still stands - why is he only getting a minute or two? or was his substitution on Saturday just delaying tactics in which case Liam has obviously learn't from the Bishops Finger games

I just think that Liam's needs to have a look at what he's got already before dipping hap-hazardly into the transfer market.
And let's face it, they all need a kick up the backside if they aren't prepared to give 100% for a new manager. How else do they convince him of their commitment?
