Previous student. Unfortunately, I have to work for a living these days! Ivory Peg is a good venue & cheap but can get very busy on a Fri/Sat night. (Been full of 17/18 year olds lately as well). Hot House is probably my favourite bar. The Original Plough is a very good pub.

I'm looking forward to the game at Burnham on 23rd April. Should be a cracker!

You must be on the Rivermead Campus to say that (Michael Ashcroft Building?)...the Central Campus is a dump; the sooner they knock that down the better. (Orginally the uni was located in the town centre but it is gradually being moved to a new site on the edge of town). Do you ever go out in Chelmsford? Has a few good pubs and bars.

Safehands1 do you know the other keeper i mentioned? cant remember his name although Dennis, be it christian or surname rings a bell, just wondered where he is now, havnt seen him this season.....yet.

Compaq can you shed any light i saw him play for Bowers couple of seasons back, sure he was Welsh.
